Why publish in Chinese Journal of Cancer (CJC, 《癌症》)

1. There will be NO page charges for all articles published in CJC.
2. All articles in CJC will appear both in print and online.
3. The CJC will publish articles in all areas of cancer research.
4. An advantate of the CJC is its quick publication and free access to PubMed/Medline with full text. So your articles will be widely cited and read.
5. The CJC will be published in English. Authors can submit their manuscripts either in English or Chinese. There is no cost to authors for translation of their articles, and there is no cost for publication too.
6. The CJC encourages timely peer reviews and seeks to provide an editorial decision within 30 days of manuscript submission.

    《癌症》杂志的英文刊名是Chinese Journal of Cancer (CJC), 由国内规模最大、学术力量最雄厚的肿瘤学医教研基地之一，世界卫生组织癌症研究合作中心的中山大学肿瘤防治中心主办。

    经过二十多年的努力和奋斗，在广大作者、读者的大力支持下，在历届编委的努力下，《癌症》杂志已成为我国肿瘤学界的重要学术论坛，在国内外享有一定的信誉和影响：1992年首批进入中国科技核心期刊后，相继又被选入“中国生物医学核心期刊”、“中国肿瘤学核心期刊”和“中文核心期刊”。在中国科学引文数据统计的“被引频次数最高的中国科技期刊500名排行表”中，《癌症》排位逐年上升，稳居国内同类杂志前列，其地位日趋突出；被“中国科学引文数据库”首批选为收录来源期刊；被《中国期刊网》、《中国学术期刊（光盘版）》首批选为全文收录来源期刊；被选入“中国学术期刊综合评价数据来源期刊”；《癌症》还加入国家科技部组织实施的“万方数据库——数字化期刊群”全文上网，被《中国核心期刊（遴选）数据库》收录。2003年《癌症》被收录入世界权威生物医学检索系统PubMed/Medline，使全世界读者可在“因特网”上浏览《癌症》全文信息(在科学的领域中，学术期刊国际化最重要的体现就是被当今本行业国际上最著名的专业数据库收录。对医学期刊而言，被美国国立医学图书馆PubMed/Medline数据库所收录的科学价值非常高。PubMed/Medline数据库不仅是全球医药领域最著名的专业数据库，而且由于其良好的界面和无偿使用的性质也使其成为全球使用率最高的专业数据库)。此外，《癌症》还被美国Chemistry Abstracts(CA)、 西太平洋地区医学索引(Western Pacific Region Index Medicus)、 台湾华艺数据库等收录。

    在过渡期内，我们将接收中、英文投稿，鼓励英文投稿。中文投稿将收取每篇100元的投稿费，英文投稿将不收取投稿费。论文经专家评审同意录用者，一律不再收取翻译费和版面费（发表费）。具体投稿要求及规范。
